The other day I was eating a bag of pre-made salad from a grocery store, and in one particular bite found myself thinking that 'The American Bourgeoisie isn't all bad - arugula is delicious.' I guess I really should vote for Obama (and yes, I really do think things like that when I eat my plain salad from a bag (and, yes, I know it's a slight variation on a formulation of Curtis White's (which is itself an application of Herbert Marcuse's notion of the 'dialectic of civilization'))).
